Hows the statue of mel gibson holding up in stirling?
[editline]July 23 2012[/editline]
Seriously though I've always wondered what the general opinion was of having that statue there.
Also ask a fellow Scotsman things as well.

Whereabouts in the homeland do you hail from?

I'm really not a big fan of Mel Gibson.

Edinburgh.
What is it like to be an Englishman in a dress?
Even in our Man Dresses, we're manlier then those English bastards. Just kidding, it's nice.
Do you really eat deep fried Mars bars?
Do you really eat deep fried Mars bars?
Yes, they're amazing.
Are you all drunken Cyclopses?
What does it feel like living in the same city as Sobotnik?
Are you angry?
Do you drink Buckfast or is Edinburgh a place of sophistication?
How's the food over there? And your snackfoods too. I love reading up on the junk food other countries get.
and of course their actual cooking
Do you know someone called Samuel Doe
if so send him my tears

Hey! Let the scotswoman join in too. Ask me something, too.
Sorry, I just got back to my computer.
Are you all drunken Cyclopses?
Some of us, but not all of us.
What does it feel like living in the same city as Sobotnik?
I dunno.
Are you angry?
Yes, sometimes.
Do you drink Buckfast or is Edinburgh a place of sophistication?
I don't drink wine, not even tonic wine. I prefer whiskey.

Snackfoods are good. Actual cooking, I don't know, I haven't tried the cooking in other countries besides Ireland, Germany, Belgium, and the United States, so I don't know how to answer that.
Do you know someone called Samuel Doe

The Liberian president?
What's your name?
I have a lot of fake names to keep people off my tail, and I don't like to give out my real name that often, so I won't answer that one.
Can I join the party?
Scotland's honestly not as bad as people make it out to be; I'm not Scottish, but I went, expecting things that other English people had said to be true, it wasn't! It's an ok place to be honest.
Favorite booze?
I'd personally say Whiskey, but I'm a sucker for a pint of Guinness.
As for our food... Well, it's filling to say the least, depending on what you're eating. For example, on the 25th of January, It's Rabbie Burns Night, and it's like tradition that we eat Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Or, as everyone else calls it, Haggis, Turnip and Potatoes.
My favourite snackfood, since I'm a health freak, is Oatcakes. If I fancy something fatty though, I'll have a buttery.
And to everyone who lives in Scotland, Who's with me in passing on some Scottish recipies over in the Cooking Chums Forum? And please, god. Tell me you know what a Hot Toddy is. It's awesome. Teaspoon of sugar into a warm glass of heather honey, add a measure of whiskey (Not Malt.) and top it up with boiling water.
Also, Deep fried mars bars. Who doesn't love them?
