Oh yeah. Time to start some fires, who is with me?
It's nearly a gigabyte, sheesh.
Soon L4D1 will be truly obsolete...

More like F2P... :v:

One of the few reasons I have small grudge on Valve, other than that Valve has done fantastic job.

Actually, L4D going free to play makes sense. Old owners of L4D could get L4D2 for free for example, and the base Left 4 Dead would go free to play. Left 4 Dead 2, however, would be like an "upgrade" - seeing as it basically adds 5 campaigns, melee weapons and other stuff to the game.
I can see Valve doing this.
I find L4D more fun.
Because of the atmosphere, fov and animations

So people who bought L4D like me will get a free copy of L4D2? A game that I also bought?
I don't really have a problem with what Valve's doing, I'm just trying to poke holes in your idea.

You'll get a Genuine hat when Valve adds the hat shop into Left 4 Dead.

It would be nice if I got a copy to gift to somebody else or something like that.
Christs sakes. I went on a pub to play it and I got left behind 3 times. All because they just to worried about themselves and had names like: L33tKiLLa

Except some people (myself, for example) bought both of them. Then again, we know by this point that Valve doesn't really give a fuck so maybe this will happen anyways.

They give enough of a fuck to give a free copy :v:
Yes yes, I have both L4D and L4D2. You raise a good point - perhaps owners of both get a giftable copy of L4D2?

I'd be okay with this.
We'd also probably get a Genuine Coach's Cola for the demoman, too.
I really like the dead air campaign so I'll probably actually launch L4D2 in a long time

As if the blacklash from TF2 owners wasn't bad enough.
If I were Valve though, I would add a hat store too just to piss them off.

Now that's not a bad idea...
