You're retarded to try and use a glass to record a movie.
I love how it implies bootleggers these days are mainly movie-goers with hidden shit and not employees who set up a camera near closing-time and plays the film for an empty cinema because their pay is shit and the money they might get from the bootleg is worth it so much more than keeping their job.
A camera banned in cinemas? this is unheard of.
the video quality of Glass is total ass anyway it's not like the video anyone's recording is going to any good at all
A camera banned in cinemas? this is unheard of.
A device with secondary/tertiary function being a camera being banned in cinemas? It is. I have never had a cinema tell me to leave my phone at the door.
the video quality of Glass is total ass anyway it's not like the video anyone's recording is going to any good at all
Not to mention the fact it can only record for 30 minutes before the battery dies Hope you've got four pairs stacked on your head
Not to mention the fact it can only record for 30 minutes before the battery dies Hope you've got four pairs stacked on your head
hope you've also got a completely stable head and neck that never moves and the quietest cinema in the known universe

Oh please.
What happens when your primary source of vision is your prescription Google Glass? There might be people who don't have a second set of glasses-completely banning them is ridiculous.
A device with secondary/tertiary function being a camera being banned in cinemas? It is. I have never had a cinema tell me to leave my phone at the door.
They do tell you to turn off your phone before the film starts though. At least they do around here
They do tell you to turn off your phone before the film starts though. At least they do around here
All the theaters in my area ask to put the phone on silent and to refrain from flash photography, as well as a short little commercial about how your phone screen can distract others from the movie.
They do tell you to turn off your phone before the film starts though. At least they do around here
That's completely different though, they could at least tell you to turn off your google glasses or something.
That's completely different though, they could at least tell you to turn off your google glasses or something.
They ask you to turn your phone off because it disturbs others. If your phone is on and it makes a sound, people will know. No one will know if you're using your Google Glass or not.
What happens when your primary source of vision is your prescription Google Glass? That's the most asinine thing I've heard all day. I would imagine someone with prescription glasses would be trying to read some important papers or cross a busy street, only for their latest Facebook and Google+ notifications to pop up on screen for whatever reason and blind them completely if they had Google Glass on it.
Quick, ban that thing we don't understand.
Quick, ban that thing we don't understand.
Lol "I personally believe that you should be allowed a recording device in a theater because I think it's kinda neat" You can see someone holding up a phone to record a movie. You can't see a person recording a movie with Google Glass (except for some tiny red dot on it or something but nobody will see that when they're watching a movie). It's like bitching about not being allowed a camcorder in the theater. "B-BUT YOU DON'T KNOW THAT I'M GOING TO RECORD WITH IT!!! STOP BANNING THINGS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!"
What happens when your primary source of vision is your prescription Google Glass? There might be people who don't have a second set of glasses-completely banning them is ridiculous.
Can you not take the Google Glass bit off of the glasses?
"I personally believe that you should be allowed a recording device in a theater because I think it's kinda neat"
"Let's create a quote completely irrelevant to the other persons statement" Completely disregard that the device is not capable of recording feature length, is rather obvious when you start the movie by saying "GLASS, RECORD A VIDEO", and that it completely solves the distracting light issue from people checking texts on a phone that using your logic should be banned as well.
You can see someone holding up a phone to record a movie.
Honestly, its much harder to notice somebody with a phone sitting in their crotch pointed in the direction of the screen than an indicator light plastered to somebodies face
You're retarded to try and use a glass to record a movie.
No need to ban it. No one likes cam versions of movies, even when they're on a tripod in the back. How's a Google Glass version going to look with all the minor movements of the guy's neck

People still watch cam-rips? "Lets see, how can I watch the latest movie without getting off my fat ass... I know! I'll download a 200mb video @240p that was recorded with a potato!"
The glass cam might be goodish but no camera is really good at low light which is why noone ever bothers with cam rips anyway :v: I'm sure its more employees doing the cam rips since they can set it up right
I love how it implies bootleggers these days are mainly movie-goers with hidden shit and not employees who set up a camera near closing-time and plays the film for an empty cinema because their pay is shit and the money they might get from the bootleg is worth it so much more than keeping their job.
Or just you know skip that and leak shit. [editline]2nd July 2014[/editline] I can't think of a movie bad enough that I wouldn't care about video quality but good enough to be worth watching. Cam rips are so dumb.
I love watching mobile phone quality movies with the sound of someone eating their popcorn at the same time
I can only imagine what a pirated movie recorded with Glass would look like, every other minute or so the camera turns to grab a drink, and I doubt the camera would stay still during the entire movie.
Most cinemas have cameras to detect random LED lights whether they be red or whatever other colour.
Honestly that sounds like it'd be easy and hilarious to fuck with. Just take in a big bundle of multicolored LED lights strapped to a battery, then just whip it out and sit there like a christmas tree.
