• win7 acpi-to-hid mapper driver?

when I got my laptop, there's a special app that shows on-screen info of of what the volume or screen brightness is when I use the fn button to control that. It worked fine on xp/vista, but then I installed windows 7. Most drivers worked, some I found on windows update. But when it search for the "ACPI-to-HID mapper driver" I get this screen: And when I use the app I described before won't work without the acpi driver. If you need any other info, tell me and I will get it.
Can you maybe use keytweak to get the same functionality? Also can you try compatibility mode with drivers?

It's only the on-screen images that won't work. And I can't use compatibility mode, as I don't even have the drivers anywhere.
