About damn time I say.
Also pretty excited to see how we will be able to "interact" with the jungle animals
YES

Yeah I hated that in Far Cry 2.
A Typical session of FC2:
VROOM VROOM!
*car slams into you, and somehow instantly kills you*
then your buddy comes and saves you
Your gun jams 10 times, then explodes
Awesome cover system.

Anyone for hunting? :smug:
Don't get too excited, remember what happened with Far Cry 2?
Aww, I loved the weapon degradation - knowing that the shot you're just about to fire might be your last, because the shitty G3 you picked up from the ground a minute ago might jam.
need to see some more moment to moment gameplay but it looked cool kind of a shame it is a tropical island I really am kind of bored of that environment farcry 4 on a different planet please
Looks awesome hope it won't be shit like far cry 2, but I am hopeful because what bothered me most about 2 was the terrible voice acting in the last game, it looks allot better this time.
On the surface this seems like it could be very good. The stuff they discussed sounded great. But I'm not going to get too excited just yet, not after FC2.
It better have Lions.
And crocodiles.
Crocodiles are cool.
Looks like they're getting all uppity with the story again. Farcry 1? Fighting mutants and spec-ops guys and shit. But Farcry 2 got the terrible idea to be a commentary on war crimes in third world countries, and it looks like this one's going the same route.
I enjoyed Far Cry 2 a lot. It was a very flawed game, but it had great potential. In fact, with a few small tweaks, FC2 could have been SO much more enjoyable.
I understand why people hated FC2 but I hope they give FC3 a chance. I think ubisoft finally has the right formula for a fun far cry game after the feedback they received from FC2.

UBISOFT and every game made by them is simply a repetition.

Kill somebody +10 +15
Rail mounts on guns
Nice graphics but what sort of audience are they going to attract with this game? CoD players is the answer.

That Voss guy is a very interesting character though.
I hope they don't fuck this one up, because if they don't it could end up being good.

I thought you said, "your body comes and saves you"

It looks like a half step backwards, to be honest. They probably got rid of the spreading fires, too, along with vehicles. Actually, it looks like they just got rid of everything that was interesting in FC2, rather than just fixing it and/or improving on it.
That said, they did seem to add a few good things too. If they actually do have animals interact with you once in a while, it would be awesome to be ambushed by an alligator while you're sneaking up on an enemy camp. And I like the jungle setting, a lot. Fast travel could be alrite as long as they do it right.

Boy, you sure do have the gift of clairvoyance, don't you? How can you tell all those things, from an E3 demo that didn't even showcase them? You don't even see any fire, and the only vehicle you see is a helicopter. Just hold faith.
