I thought I'd put this in GD, as it's more a discussion than a plea for help.
I've recently finished building my first rig (excellent fun, learnt a great deal), and I found I couldn't install ubuntu 10.04, instead getting the error message:
"BusyBox v1.13.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-ubuntu11) built in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system".
After googling around for a while I found someone who'd ahd the same problem, and has been able to solve it by going into the bios and changing he boot device from whatever its default is to RAID.
Hey presto, it worked.
But how did it work?
