I'm so tired of the future bullshit, give me ww2 or vietnam pls.
Or better yet, give us the trench warfare of WW1

That is quite hilarious to hear, guess WW2 is going to be "in" again.

I know people got bored of ww2 shooters, but a good one hasn't been made in a while.
I remember everyone complaining when World at War came out saying that there were too much WW2 games out there.
WaW was one of the best cods imo, especially with zombies
I'd be interested in another WW2 game as long as it isn't set in the European or Pacific theatres. Gimme North Africa or South East Asia.
World War 2 with exosuits.
How about a Canadian point of view? Like the Italian Theatre?
I want Starship Troopers cod.
I personally would like to see another European theater. That's just me personally seeing all the grittiness with today's graphics

If they bring back some of the gore from WaW they could make a pretty intense game.
Why was WaW the only CoD with so much gore? They really toned it down in Black Ops and then pretty much removed it in Black Ops 2.
Vietnam pls

I would love this done with something similar to Titanfall's AI system. If you got enough kills or morale you could get the AI to do a big no mans land charge to the other side and shit.
Imagine charging half way through no mans land with the AI dropping left and right beside you and you dive in behind shitty cover in the middle of no mans land listening to bullets wizz over you from both sides, shit would be great.
Why doesn't anyone do a Vietnam War game? There is so much untapped potential there in terms of environments, music, story telling, characters - nope let's just rehash the same done to death World War 2 storylines.
Or why not make something up, AW is interesting precisely because it isn't modern, or old. Pull a World in Conflict, go back to the 1970s, or 80s make up some imaginary conflict with China over Taiwan or something.
Shit, go 2xtreme4u and have a game where the US isn't even a main actor. Make Call of Duty: Modern European Finance with EU ministers getting mad at German ministers for their deflationary policies. Press 'F' to vote Yes on the current resolution on the non-binding line item budget bill for FY2020.
Back peddling to the fad of the early 2000s just seems dumb, especially if it's just the European theater again.
Another world at war would be so good.
Korean war please. You can fit a lot of different country perspectives seeing how a lot of UN committed forces were out and about. Plus It's pretty much untouched.
going to spoiler tag this since there maybe be some people who play CoD for the campaign
[sp]With how AW ended it doesn't seem like Sledgehammer's next game be anything but AW2. "It was only the beginning" is one of the final lines so a sequel, or trilogy, should be happening.[/sp]
I liked the WW2 phase. Pumped out a pretty good number of shooters. When Modern Warfare came out, it was good to see something different, but man you can't beat storming up the beaches of normandy in like 50 different games.
I still want a game sent in Rhodesia.

no
Vietnam could be really interesting.
You know what we need, a WW2 story where you play as the Germans.
Like, you can argue about the morality of it, but in reality they were a bunch of recruits trying to fight for their country against outside forces, as well as fight for the surrounding territories they felt they were fucked out of after WW1.
It'd be interesting to see the constant looming feeling of "Everything's already fucked, let's see if you can at least make it through this war.", seeing as admittedly there's a very high chance the main character could actually DIE.
If they could keep it fresh somehow. I wouldn't mind something like Black Ops meets WW2, that one level from Black Ops that took place in the snow for example. I'd like WW2, but not some generic piss-ass village in the middle of Germany like most games seem to do. Something unique.

This would also be cool. Watching people lose their influence to the nazi regime, fighting for different people or whatever would be cool as hell. Playing as a soldier just as the regime hits the Wehrmacht.
Maybe the Pacific theater would be cool too?

I always thought Vietnam would be an excellent setting for the Brothers in Arms series if they ever finish their WWII story. As much as I enjoyed the early CODs, they weren't very good story and/or character-wise.
