• System tray popups cause lag.

On my laptop, whenever something pops up in the system tray I get a serious drop in performance the duration it's up. Steam messages, google talk popups, windows updates, everything nukes my performance. It's not a problem when I'm surfing the internet, but if I'm trying to play a game (even cortex command gets affected, a game that doesn't utilize your graphics card) it drops my framerate to 3-4 FPS and gives a noticable tear between each frame. After the popup goes away it stops, as if nothing happened. I've tried googling around but I haven't seen anything similar to what i'm experiencing. I have an MSI wind if it matters.

My friend had this problem (albeit with a high end computer), removing and then installing the graphics drivers in safe mode worked. Doing the same thing not in safe mode did not work. I'm not entirely sure what causes this.
guess i'll have to reinstall my GMA 950 DRIVERS (hardcore) thanks though
