Currently i have a Corsair CX430 PSU and i'm wondering if this will be enough for the GTX 1080? I know the 1080 needs an 8 pin connector, which i think this PSU does have, because it has one 6 pin connector and another 2, but yeah will i have any troubles with this? Or what PSU should i get? I also plan on running 2 SSDs and maybe 1 or 2 HDDs and 16gb 2400mhz ram with an i7 CPU.
And i don't need people telling me not to buy a 1080 or comment my specs and such, because i don't care. I want to know what PSU i should buy that's relatively cheap.
All I can tell you is don't cheap out on your PSU, if you don't have a very good one it's going to degrade the rest of your hardware faster than better ones
I would probably go with another Corsair modular power supply, preferably around 600+ watts.
It would be a waste to cheap out on your PSU when you plan on rolling a 1080.

Or you could go for a new 600w good PSU like one of the ones Kiwi recommended.
500 watts should be fine

Many of the Corsair's are built by Seasonic.

No current production models besides the AX non i are built by seasonic. They're pretty much all CWT, great wall, or flextronics at this point.
I have a Seasonic M12II Bronze 620W PSU, it's not top tier from Seasonic but it's still damn good.
Not sure how much the 1080 consumes, but I definitely recommend Seasonic as a brand.
The M12II I have, they use proper 105°C Nippon Chemi-Con and Rubycon capacitors, those things are the best capacitors on the market, and caps tend to be the first things to fail in PSUs.

Unlike the Corsair CX's wonderful Teapo's and beautiful solder work.

Like this is brand new out of the box and you can already see some cracks.
