My Gmod crashed and now when I try to start up Steam or any game I have through steam a message pops up saying "Steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized): Partial field header at end of record" and that's it. Halp?
This is the second time it happened, the first time it happened, I reinstalled steam, but then I had to reinstall all my games/skins and I don't feel like doing that all again. Is there any other way to fix it rather than having to reinstall steam whenever a game crashes?
Delete everything out of the steam folder but steamapps. Or backup steamapps (thats where your games are) then download steam and run the install. Then replace the steamapps with the one you backed up.

Everytime a game crashes?
Delete clientregister.blob, might help.
