I scratched up my imac restore disc, and wondered if it would be legal to download another from a website. I dont want to pay apple $20 just for 2 cds. Any ideas?
Apple's hasn't offered a restore disk on CD since ages ago - at this rate, you're better off just getting the OS CD.

how old is your iMac? I only have a install disk

Its an Intel iMac Jan. 2006.
White? I got an Upgrade Path DVD with my mid-07 (al) iMac. You should be fine with a generic installer DVD.
