Basically, I can't get any features of my touchpad on my eee pc to work at all except basic movements, and tap clicking. Shit like scroll bars no longer work (they used to).
I've tried everything. Rolling back drivers, uninsalling/reinstalling, installing older drivers, etc. NOTHING WORKS.
It's really fucking annoying not being able to use scrollbars.
Everytime I enter my mouse settings too with the driver installed, I get an error message prompting me that it can't connect to the pointing device driver. There's NOTHING I can do.
I've already posted this in another forum and didn't get jack shit for response so I'd be really grateful if anyone knew wtf was going on and how to fix it.
Try backing up your important stuff and doing a clean install?
Are you using Vista/7? Try uninstalling touchpad drivers, then do a check with windows update and you should get a properly compatible version through there.
Running XP.
The only drivers I can install for XP when my touchpad driver is unistalled (the touchpad still "works" in basic functionality), is a "PS/2 Mouse Driver".

Anyone? :(
If reinstalling drivers doesn't work, i think i'd be a hardware problem. My touchpad didn't work before too, but i had to reinstall drivers and it worked fine.

Go to the PC's website and get the manufacturers drivers, the default PS/2 ones won't have the same functionality. (Tapping, scroll, etc).
