• Graphics artifacts in games.

Today my computer started having severe artifacts in games. Speedfan shows my GPU temperatures at 32-40 degrees, so I don't think it's a cooling issue. Also, only games cause it, and it happens as soon as the game launches. Minecraft seems to be the only 3d game not affected by artifacts. Specs: EVGA GTX 460 768MB AMD Phenom II X4 955 650w Cooler Master PSU 4 GB DDR3
All those things are effected by direct X, Minecraft uses Open GL see if Direct X is up to date.
Since when does speedfan show gpu temp? Annyway download furmark and run it for 10 minutes while it has the "log gpu temp" option enabled.

I had also artifacts with video games. They mostly happened after up to 30 minutes of gameplay and then the game froze and artifacts appeared, changing patterns every few seconds. This mostly lead to computer processor freeze so I had to restart the PC. The problem lied in RAM cards. The tests showed no problems but artifacts still appeared. Something ceased to function in RAM and they had to be replaced with newer ones. My PC temperature was stable, hardware drivers were updated and softwares had latest versions.

32-40º...? Either you're idling or you're on a water loop filled with liquid nitro.

Reinstalling DirectX fixed things.
