So 3 weeks ago i got a windows message saying my hard disk was failing and i should contact the seller although nothing has happened yet, for the second problem my gpu was around 70-80 on full load some weeks ago now if i dont adjust the fan speed it gets as hot as 95-100 degrees on the same games does anyone know why?
You should definitely back up your hard drive, especially if you notice freezing issues. My HDD just tanked and I lost everything.
all i have on my hard drive is steam games so they are easily recoverable the thing im worried about is can it damage any other computer components? also I cannot afford a new hard drive so i have to wait for this to fail then send it in on warranty
A common failure in hard drives under normal wear and tear use is that it accumulates so many bad sectors that it runs out of reallocation space. If S.M.A.R.T. is enabled, it will warn you of this long before it runs out of reallocation space. There are various other electronic and mechanical failures that a hard drive can experience, but most of them aren't catastrophic failures and won't cause damage to anything other than itself. I have seen spectacular failures in SCSI drives before though. In the two cases I've seen, both were 15k RPM Seagate SCSI drives; One of the drives had the upper most platter break the bolts holding it and slice through the rubber seal and bounce around inside the case, while the other had all but one of the platters explode, bowing out the top of the drive and leaving platter fragments everywhere.
the hard disk was failing when i got it they removed it from the list of what they sell and it failed after 3 weeks of use
Probably like the IBM/Hitachi deathstar that had severe electronic problems.
oh god my entire screen just started artifacting it was all purple and black i think something is really wrong with the card, it goes up to a 100 degrees without manually setting up fan speed above the stock speed
