Curved upwards? Why? It's going to be awful to grip since the face of the controller will be curved into your hands, you'd need to cradle it or do a weird claw stance to hold it and press all the buttons.
Also the location of the buttons is unlike the other two. The bottom right?
I'm sure that once you get hold of one you'll change your mind or get used to it. Valve is known for their testing, I'm sure that's not the first time it's been said.
