New takedown animations? They didn't look new to me.
So Dev commentaries are collectables?
Hmm.. Interesting. :V
seems like someone doesn't like the Wii U
And i'm curious as to how much of the graphics they upgraded, so far in all of the videos the game looks the same

The non lethals weren't new. I don't know about the lethal at the end since I never killed people in DXHR.

They confirmed in an earlier interview that the lighting will be changed in the maps, at least. They said it'd be to the style they used in The Missing Link.
Hm, were the extra batteries recharging naturally in that?
That was something that I found annoying in the original game, where the extra batteries were basically a one-time use that had to be refilled with energy bars. If they actually recharge on their own, that will be a fantastic change.

I hope they did more than just lighting. I don't know how much they could change on the 360/PS3, but on the PC and Wii U they would have a lot more room to do some pretty good upgrades.

They don't seem to recharge at all, except when he uses an energy bar.
So that probably did not change.

I agree. One thing I noticed in the vid was that the ambient occlusion seemed to be toned down a bit from what I remember of the PC and console versions, so that might be an example of a change
though with the video quality I just may be seeing things

I ended up finishing the game with like 8 extra energy bars and a big ol' tub of sauce because I was paranoid about running out. I'd always switch off my augs right before they fully drained a battery.
New takedowns? I need to go buy a box of candy bars.

The lethal takedown's not new either. Misleading article. :v:
I get the feeling that aside from the tweaked boss fights and changed lighting, this really isn't much bang for the buck unless you get the Wii U version and never played the game before. Granted, you get a significantly reduced price if you already owned the game, but still.

Newgame+ sounds interesting but I don't really understand what it entails.

You can start the game over but with all the upgrades you unlocked last playthrough. So if you have like full battery capacity and maximum storage space you carry those over to the new game.

Won't that result in a lot of unusable Praxis kits? I already have a playthrough where I got every augment(it was pretty monotonous to hack everything and non lethal dual takedown everyone possible). Would I go through the game again getting EXP and praxis kits that I can't use?

The points would just rack up and by that point, it'd be like a self-score of how many you can get I guess. But if you get all the augmentations and then go New Game + in the first place, you'd probably be speedrunning things, a No-Alerts stealth run, or stuff like that rather than collecting Praxis Kits and caring for EXP after that point.
I hope they changed the reflections, they looked pretty bad imo.
I know it's just a re-release, but it's odd that you still can't pre-order it, it comes out in five days.
