• Windows 8 Consumer Package Desperate HELP!

I am in desperate need of assistance. I was talking with a friend and they told me about the Windows 8 Consumer Package, It sounded interesting and wanted to try it out. I read the directions when downloading and installing, but NEVER saw anything that said it would remove my operating system, Windows 7. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to solve this problem, when I first bought this laptop, 6-7 months ago, an Asus K53, I did the DVD backup disks. There are 5 disks. I use this laptop for everything, school, work, communication, pretty much everything. I can understand how this was an unbelievably stupid thing to do, especially the fact that I ALWAYS research before I try something out. I didn't look up anything before I downloaded and installed, I expected to be an easy preview of the next operating system. A simple, install, check it out, then uninstall, like a basic program. I need desperate help, I have my files backed up, but can't figure out how to get the boot screen for Windows 8. No I didn't set up a dual boot. no preparation for this install. I had a system restore made right before doing it, that is all, but, I can't access it because Windows 8 says there is no restore point. I don't care if I have to format the computer to factory default, I have the backup disks, I have my files backed up, I need to get rid of this OS, Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Thank you very much to whomever can solve this, or even hint at what to do. Also, I have placed the 1st Back up disk in the computer, turned off the computer, turned it back on, and nothing happens. It simply starts up spins the disc, goes silent, and asks me to sign in like normal. If you need any more information for helping me fix this problem, please ask. To get the computer to boot from the disk you may have to enter the bios to set the boot order. The key to enter will probably be F2 or delete, as soon as you turn it on mash those two buttons. Now look for a "boot" menu (most likely along tabs at the top) and you will get a list of devices your computer can boot from. Make sure CD/DVD is at the top. You should be able to boot from the recovery CD then. (I don't have a computer like that so the menus may be slightly different)
