Hey Facepunch, I've got a 30 dollar limit here for a good set of desktop speakers. I know absolutely nothing about speaker brands, sound, how it's quality is measured, etc.
If somebody could pick me out a nice pair off of newegg, and explain why it's decent you will get a shiny winner rating which means the world [sp]no it doesn't.[/sp]
You probably need to know I'm on realtek integrated sound windows 7 64 bit ultimate, 4 gigs of ram all of that jazz.
youre not going to get anything worth writing home about for $30
just get whatever looks good to you
if you come across another $100, get these
I guess I am looking for super budget speakers, that are good for the price. Better than the ones at walmart. There must be some on Newegg that can beat Walmart.

I would go with the ones with a sub, actually being able to hear the lows will definitely outweigh slightly better mids/highs
