Hello PC Building. So I recently lost my laptop of 4 years operating to dvd-drive failure and other general hardware failure. So I pulled the most amount of money I could out of my savings and took a trip to best buy. I saw a REALLY great gateway going for $519 +tax; 6GB DDR3 RAM, pentium dual core 2.8 GHz x64, 1TB hard drive. Keep on going down the list and shock ensues, intel GMA :geno:. So I bought it anyways seeing that it had 2 PCI-e slots. So, the thing has a 220 watt power supply on-board. I'm starting to save up some more money for a new graphics card, what's the best I can get on my power budget?
Well, you aren't going to run anything on a 200w PSU, so you should upgrade that first. [editline]01:50AM[/editline] Good 500w run from 40-70 dollars.

It may be a bit hard to find a new one that can fit, dimensions are 12.40" x 3.93" x 10.43"
You could've gotten a much better build if you built it yourself
You could've gotten a much better build if you built it yourself
Half of the fund to buy it was trusted from my dad, which thinks all computers blow up if you touch as much as the OS. Fourtunatly, he trusted me with the upgrade.
Pentium dual core with ddr3? I thought PDC's were low end core 2's which mostly ran on ddr2?
What games?
