I have a file that Norton continues to delete only because it thinks it's a trojan, yet I do know for a fact it is not.
Is there any options in Norton to give this file an exception? I have looked in all of the options and have came up empty handed.
Yeah, norton was doing this to me awhile back, too, with Minefield. (It deleted the updater) SO I just disabled Norton and let the updater run, then re-enabled norton, and it didn't delete it again.
My files a .DLL I have to have for a program to run and deletes it anytime the program is started...
First, once your Norton subscription expires, don't waste money on renewing it and get avast! Free Antivirus.
Second, did you even look through the documentation for Norton? I'm pretty sure it's in there somewhere.

That thread is an advertisement. Don't listen to it; avast! is just fine.
