It's a BenQ XL2420T I bought from Amazon.
I've noticed minor backlight bleeding at the bottom, now a bit in the bottom right corner. However, now I notice a very feint band across the centre which wasn't there from the start and now its starting to look cloudy on the sides.
There are no dead pixels. I bought around 9 days ago.
Not the best pictures as bad camera.

1) Check for bent pins on the VGA or DVI connectors.
2) If you have any shitty extra monitors, try them. If they don't work correctly things aren't fine and dandy with your GPU or mobo chipset.
3) If all else fails, go ahead and return the thing.
Many monitors will show these kind of deviations. Perhaps it's best to check in electronic stores how the image actually looks like before buying it.
