Cohen tells EW. “Since Seth voices Family Guy‘s talking dog, Brian, we thought it would be funny to have him blatantly rip himself off for our benefit.
I don't know how to feel about Seymour talking... and sounding like Brian Griffin. [editline]1:28 PM[/editline] Could a mod change "its" to "Futurama's" [editline]3:00PN[/editline] Sorry, forgot source: http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/06/19/futurama-seth-macfarlane/
I don't know, I don't think this will end well. But we'll just have to wait and see.
i, what? i havent seen futurama really recently it looks like. are they really going to take the dog from one of their most moving episodes, give it a voice and make it some stupid little family guy in-joke? that just sad.
If people start to bitch somebody is gonna get my balls in their ass. Sure his tv show sucks ass but his voice is pretty damn sexy.
maybe is going to be like the bee episode.
I don't see what the problem is. From the article it sounds like they are going to shit on Family Guy and use Seth to do so.
I'm less bothered about Seth than I am taking a crucial part of one the best episodes and completely ruining it.
i kinda thought with this season fry would do some backwards time traveling and visit his folks, seeing as its the last season, i just hope seth does a different voice for seymore than brian, even if he is holding brian's favorite drink in that shot
Seymour: "Stupid republicans/Jews/Christians/religious/domestic abuse joke!!!" In reality, outside of FG Seth is respectable. It is an interestjg route to make Seymour talk.

At least it's a brief cameo, rather than an entire fucking episode.
Hopefully he doesn't sound too much like any of the characters in Family guy. He can change his voice incredibly well.
Family Guy's pretty stale on humor but Seth himself is pretty fucking hilarious, you guys are too critical
I really am not sure if I like this.
Need a source, OP. I have no problem with Seth doing the voice. What I'm wondering is why they want Seymour to talk in the first place.
I'm gonna form an opinion on this after I see it.
Futurama really does not need Brian
Need a source, OP. I have no problem with Seth doing the voice. What I'm wondering is why they want Seymour to talk in the first place.
I'm assuming it's the final season so might aswell do some what-ifs and what ever.
They could be doing a "where are they now" parody, like the simpsons did.
Need a source, OP. I have no problem with Seth doing the voice. What I'm wondering is why they want Seymour to talk in the first place.
dream sequence maybe?
So let me get this straight, Fry goes back to 1999? I haven't kept up with Futurama, I am only judging it by the picture in the OP.
They could be doing a "where are they now" parody, like the simpsons did.
They did something like that. Twice. It's called the "what if" machine.
Need a source, OP. I have no problem with Seth doing the voice. What I'm wondering is why they want Seymour to talk in the first place.
"Our super fancy executive charts say that the episode with the dog was popular so we need more of that"
If people start to bitch somebody is gonna get my balls in their ass.
Why would you stick your balls in someone's ass? That sounds extremely unpleasant.
I think it has potential. Seth is a cool guy, just because he's doing a voice doesn't inherently mean they're going to shit on something. I mean if it's final season I wouldn't be surprised if this is going to be a part of some depressing moment in finale.
So let me get this straight, Fry goes back to 1999? I haven't kept up with Futurama, I am only judging it by the picture in the OP.
From what I read, the crew has some sort of mission that involved returning to 1999 through Fry's dreams of it. They had concept art of Nibblonians from the episode, so they're probably involved in why they need to go back.
Yeah, I'm willing to bet on one last episode of What-Ifs.
Yeah, I'm willing to bet on one last episode of What-Ifs.
This season already has a "three story" episode, which is spoofing Saturday morning cartoons. I doubt they're doing both that and another Anthology of Interest.
How many finales has this show had now?
