I have been having problems with my video playback on 7. It's really weird but it's only on some random videos that I know worked previously on the same OS and everything the problem is that the background sound of some videos are either the only thing that plays or overwhelmingly louder than the voice portion of the video i've tried windows media player VLC real player and Quicktime all the movies are different codecs, avi, xvid, mp3, mkv. and I am stumped the sound card isn't reporting any errors in device manager and it's only with some so whatever suggestions u can suggest would be great.
Check to see if your sound card is compatible with Windows 7.
Specs might help too.
it's a soundblaster audigy 2 z5 and i know it's compatible because i installed the drivers for windows 7 and it was working just fine for a while till now also i reinstalled the drivers.
