It's a decent shooter but not very ambitious. The most it has going for it is a neat cover/movement system and class abilities, but you don't see much of the latter because of the massive cooldowns.
The maps, atleast when I played, also tended to bog down in the middle. If you have ever played Battlefield 3, imagine Operation Metro.
I might try it again though now that it's released.

I remember hearing that this game was actually pretty bad
the problem with the game is that during closed alpha/beta, the weapons and armor and attachments and whatever had such a large price on them that grinding was obnoxiously long. when it released and they added in the current cash shop, it just made everything stupid as you can just buy the best weapons without having to grind, meaning people who pay get a clear advantage.
They also jacked up the prices at one point so there's that
