Fuck off, either it does, or it doesn't
It's not a matter of chance, it's a matter of Microsoft's willingness
What about the whole "Microsoft promising to put more effort into PC games" thing?
Prove it
I'd rather have Reach or 3 tbh.

Which year? Because they promise it every year.
So we go from halo 2 to 5? fuck off its probably going to be a stream shit that requires a xbox anyway.
I'd rather have Halo 3 :v: I always wanted to try the multiplayer mode.
Why not port over the Master Chief Collection so we can have all the updates for all 3 good games, then think about porting over this.
The PC community needs much love since the terrible treatment we've had since Halo 2.
Meanwhile gears of war ultimate is still nowhere to be seen
okay Microsoft I'll just play Spartan Assault in the meantime
Why would they bother lying to us like this? it makes them no money since halo is what sells xboxes
Too bad I stopped giving a fuck about Halo after Reach, as I'm sure a decent chunk of fans from the earlier days did as well.
I agree with the person who said to bring the Master Chief collection over though. I'd love to play some more Halo 3 multiplayer. So many fond memories...

The sad thing is, it's not really selling Xboxes anymore. Why would you buy an Xbone just for the next Halo when you can be perfectly content with the next CoD on your PS4 instead? At least, that's how I think most consumers see it.
Microsoft knows Xbox as a console is dying, while PC gaming is only growing more and more every year. Instead of trying to push Xbox as a console, they're going to start pushing Xbox as a gaming service.
Microsoft is slowly starting to move to where the market is going for more "hardcore" gaming, and it's probably the best move and idea they've had since the whole shit flinging fiasco the Xbone was pre and post launch.
I don't even really care anymore. I've got Halo Online if I want to play an "updated" Halo on PC.

Though tbh I'm probably just saying that because I know they're full of shit and this will never come out on PC.

I personally don't care about multiplayer. I think PC is missing a good story driven AAA sci-fi shooter. And I don't mean a shooter with sci-fi elements like Crysis, Half-Life and stuff, but a shooter set in a full blown sci-fi world like Star Wars, Mass Effect, Halo and stuff.
Ha turns out the developer who said this said it because the game was developed on Intel processors.
:goodjob:
I just like to point out that someone took something he said out of context and he never said anything of the sort

You're reading too much 4chan or something. This generation of Xboxes is outselling the previous one and making Microsoft more money despite Sony controlling a larger market share and lackluster exclusives.
I think 5's features would handle better on PC than the other titles if they were to be ported over tbh. Faster spartans, bigger maps, twitchier shooting, a native centered crosshair, etc.
The only thing is, their excuse for no split screen was that the game has to be capped at 60fps because the physics/ player movement is hooked to the framerate. Alright, so what it it does get ported? Will the framerate be locked indefinitely? On a PC? That won't go over well at all.
Will that essential gameplay shit be able to unhook from the framerate? If so, the split screen argument is voided. Yeesh.
