So I was looking for some web hosting company according to my needs (cheap, basically).
By making a quick research with google I found this iPage. After reading the features provided (unlimited Disk Space/Bandwidth/Domains/Databases etc), I was p. amazed by the price of only 3.50$/month. My first thought was that it's just fake shit, so I searched for reviews of the site, and came up with no thread referring to it as fake!
So I was wondering if anyone here knows if there's anything under the hood (there should be), or it's just real...
It's only $3.50. Find out.
Yeah ok obviously, but I thought it would be better to make sure first! And there are many guys here who could help me...!

It's probably only $3.50 if you buy several months or years worth at once.

You have to go for at least a year apparently. $42 for 12 months is the lowest they will let you select.

Exactly, so I have to be sure before giving money...!

But what if the wind isn't blowing, does the server go down?
If you want something even cheaper, go for Fivebean's shared hosting. It's only $12 a year and it works fine for me, if you don't like it you're only out $12.

solar panels?
or maybe they have fans blowing at the wind turbines to keep them going

The sun doesn't shine in one place 24 hours a day. Also they probably have electric motors spinning the turbines so people can pay more for wind power.
They probably use the grid's power for backup, and send extra energy back into the grid for money.
I have an account at Hosting24.com that has an unlimited deal with domain for $4'ish a month.
I've so far used +15GB storage and gotten no complains from them yet.
Only downside, I think they've limited the upload/download speed limit to 5Mbit/s per connection, as when I upload things it's only doing 465kB/s per file.

This would probably be a better choice for you if you're looking for a no bullshit 400 catches host. I host (as of now) both of my sites with them.
Yeah that's my other choice... I was chatting with the admin yesterday, and I will probably go with that one...!

I certainly hope so. :v:

I was kidding also when you pay for solar power you pay for a chunk of electricity that could be produced by wind energy but really your power comes from all the plants that supply the power.
