So I decided to fix my old computer even though it is a piece of crap. However, when I start it up I get the regular one beep and it is fine until something comes up on the monitor:
The fuck is that all about? I think I might have connected something wrong, I'm not sure.
Stare at it for long enough, maybe it's trying to tell you something.

Nah I don't think anything will happen.
Are you sure it's not a problem with the monitor itself? I had an old TFT monitor and it did that sort of thing.

Maybe, my dell monitor says that there is no signal even when I changed graphics card.
Graphics card is busted.

But I tried a different one and no dice?
Motherboard died, probably fried a controller.
Hmm, now it is shouting at me, apparently I installed my graphics card wrong?
Yeah I forgot to put the graphics cards power cable into the graphics card.
Okay now that I've done that right I just get long beeps with a couple seconds between then.
Try re-seating your memory.
HOLY SHIT. I got into the BIOS. Yay progress, and thanks ClaBrendon.

Yea,no problem.Usually long beeps with intervals mean a memory problem.Either a bad stick or it just needs to be re-seated.
Glad you got it working.
It kind of looks like the pattern on my old sofa.
