• Need new Graphics/PSU

I need help finding a graphics card and PSU, currently I am running with an integrated card and I want to change it, but I have a 400w PSU which I know is a freaking joke. I am looking to play battlefield BC2/BF3 with it. The hard limit for the total cost would be 300 USD. I am not looking to max it out, but I just want a card that will play those games on medium to medium - low settings. Currently I have: 1600x900 monitor Intel i5 650 (3.2 ghz 2 physical, 2 virtual cores) 8 gigs ram It would also be nice if there are any tips you have for me to install the new parts. I have only changed out ram before.

^ Graphics card or the EVGA version. As for PSU, I recommend any Corsair Modular PSU as they are amazing, and www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139012 are well made. The more you pay, the better you get, and It shows...
or you could recommend something that fits his needs within the budget instead of ignoring it completely
Oh, sorry! I didn't see that! :D (Screw you mobile phone!) Well, that is overbudget but I would still recommend Corsair PSU's.
Thank you, now how would I start installing it when I get it? do I need to bother with deleting my integrated card drivers?
remove existing drivers turn off pc remove existing PSU cables, if you aren't familiar with the usual connectors it might be worth noting down where everything does remove existing PSU from case install new PSU plug in new PSUs cables install card in PCI-E slot, connect PCI-E power from PSU move VGA/DVI cable from onboards outputs on the motherboard I/O to the graphics cards outputs turn on PC, install new drivers from nvidia website
Again thank you. I will finally be able to play BC2 without a crap load of lag in a few days.
Sorry for a bump or anything, but I am wondering how I would go about getting rid of Intel HD graphics drivers so I can install the GPU and wondering if there is anything special I should know about it since I am on windows 7. Do I need to disable anything so it is easier on the computer from the time I dont have a graphics driver to the time I download the Nvidia drivers? Any thing I should avoid with the New drivers? This is the first GPU install I have done. I have only ever installed ram before.

You just go into device manager, find your old graphics card and in its properties, click uninstall. Then run CCleaner in safemode.
So just to make it clear, I can just shut down right now, open it up, do the install and download the drivers and restart and everything will be A-OK?
