I play a lot of games while listening to music, and I've always found that some bands or songs go better with a game then others. So what songs, albums, or bands go good with the games you play? Also, if you want to share what games you can't listen any music with, that's fine as well.
My list is:
Half-Life 2 - Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace (Somehow goes good with the depressing mood of the game)
Garrysmod - House Music or Rap
Modern Warfare - Techno, Rap, or Metal
Skyrim - Any music outside the game other then the dragon battle song ruins the game
Dead Space - Korn, Marilyn Manson, Drowning Pool, etc.
Red Dead Redeption - No music fits it
Battlefeild - Rap
Killing Floor - Metal/Industrial
Not a good idea for a thread in my opinion.
But still, Queen goes with everything.
I don't really find a big problem making a thread in this section of facepunch. These threads don't seem to be made to bring changes to world other then just to pass the time and have fun. Thanks for your concern though.
Classical music and strategy games were made for each other.
I don't find classical music very entertaining for me to listen too, even know I have had to listen to it in almost every car ride I have had with any of my reletives.
I like listening to Mastodon while playing Skyrim.

And Meshuggah when playing something like Killing Floor

I feel like anything by Infected Mushroom goes with TF2. Maybe it's just me.

Strategy games mostly use them though, and they fit those games often very well.
I think that the Avatar soundtrack fits well with Halo games

I think The Doors fits well in most parts

For any stealth game.
Victory-Megadeth when playing Counter-Strike:Source
I find that Fear Factory, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden fit Battles in Fallout 3 very well.
Drum & Bass goes to racing games.
I think.

Have you never heard of Western movie themes? (Damn I have heard this song so many times because of Starcraft II custom games...)

Also, protip: Most people on the Internet don't like nu-metal.
Pretty much all of Bang Camaro goes amazingly with Tribes: Ascend.

Seeing all these dumb ratings make me feel like I will soon be the dumbest person on Facepunch.
SKRILLEX WITH CALL OF DUTY MW3 420 NOSCOPEZ
Baths goes with any game!
I don't listen to music usually, but I will put on spoken word shit. Standup comedy and custom Warcraft 3 maps are great together, so is Def Poetry and any MMO.
Kitsune2's slower music goes pretty well with Minecraft I find.
I only listen to music if I play multiplayer. And then it doesn't matter what I listen to if I like it.

Bang Camaro is too 80's, Tribes would go better with 90's techno.
