Dayum, that's a lot
Cost me about £12 recently for CIV 5 + gods and kings, best money I ever spent, awesome games also I'm so happy this got fixed, was pissing me off
Fix auto-scrolling between turns. If a user was scrolling when a turn ended, or when combat ended, it would occasionally get “stuck” and continue scrolling.
Didn't expect this, still nice detailed update.
- Fix auto-scrolling between turns. If a user was scrolling when a turn ended, or when combat ended, it would occasionally get “stuck” and continue scrolling.
Thank the heavens.
Didn't expect this, still nice detailed update.
It had been announced for a few months, but they were only saying "fall release", so it was vague when it was actually going to happen.
Very nice update.
you know its a good update when you have to scroll many times to get to the end.
Isn't the multiplayer in this still pretty buggy?
They still haven't fixed the issue with steam invites being broken...
Don't know as of the latet patch, but multiplayer has been a total mess since release, even after G&K, so presumably so. Bugfixing was never Firaxis' speciality, though they do release nice patches. For example, I was totally unable to get a LAN game working with friends, and a passworded internet game refused to start even after several tries, but hosting the exact game without a password and starting before anyone else could join worked just fine.
A game making it so laptops can play easily with a trackpad? Not that I'm going to play with one, I just find it awesome that a developer is making their game way more accessible.
was just playing this today. It was nice to see an AI player willingly give up the city I was attacking as part of a peace treaty. And it's cool they fixed the bug where Dutch workers wouldn't build farms because I'm lazy and have workers set to auto. Not having a source of food kind of fucks up your civ.
The last i heard is that the new update before gods and kings crashed old saves. Is that fixed or what? I tried playing an old and save and crashed.
Hmm, with the scroll bug I gone I might start playing again.
Just had my first game since patch, I chose random AI personalities and I keep getting spammed constantly with 'Accept Embassy' or something. Not sure if bugged or 4 of the Civ's have the same personality
Sounds about right, nearly all AI civs (well, Monty and Atilla don't care so much, and Alex is a cunt) really want embassies because it makes spying easier and it also enables most of the diplomatic options, like open borders and the like, which they often want. It also helps them when they decide that they want to start spamming you with research agreements once they think it will benefit them.
Yea one of my friends said that It's why I keep declining, wish I could stop them from doing it though
Yea one of my friends said that It's why I keep declining, wish I could stop them from doing it though
Yeah, maybe some kind of "Aggressively Decline" option instead of just a normal "Well I don't want it NOW, but maybe later" decline :v:
Yeah, maybe some kind of "Aggressively Decline" option instead of just a normal "Well I don't want it NOW, but maybe later" decline :v:
you could just denounce them?
Declare war on them, problem solved. kinda.
Yea I know what you mean, I kept refusing and I was friends with 3 civs, then Siam declared war on me so I went to invade his land then my 3 allies decided to go at war with me. I think I will denounce them next time if its going to lead to them betraying me
I've only had this game for a few weeks and I don't have the DLC, so I'm not sure how good/bad this is... But it's a shame they haven't enabled mods for multiplayer.
