I really like the writing and the setting. Surely an FPS would be too constraining for something like this if this is going to be reflected in the game. Some kind of Point and Click? Text Adventure? Short Film? Shit. I dunno.

More poor writing from PCGamesN; this isn't really a premise, it's really just exposition. Based off of the previous teaser footage one would be more led to assume that the whole premise of this game does not revolve around this one particular standard UH3 articulated robot. The article flat out states
... its premise is already more enticing than most games on the upcoming release calendar. It revolves around a machine which stores a human consciousness ...
This is a major assumption to make about the story of the game based off of teaser trailers, while speculation will always be there; PCGamesN's poor writing just always itches my shit.
We've got two videos with mostly unrelated pieces of technology, and the style makes me think this is gonna be SCP. In space. Eh, someone had to cash that in sooner or later.

I just hope this is a return to Frictional Games' developing. Penumbra and Dark Descent were amazing, and then they did what every developer does at least once and stupidly outsourced their IP to another company and what they ended up with was kind of a poor mimic.
I'm getting an SCP vibe here.
i hope it's not dark and spooky and instead another kind of spooky like light and spooky
If this game contains a ton of scp style reports and shit like it seems like it may, I'm beyond sold.
