So i decided to reinstall my windows 7 home premium since my pc i loaded with shit.
Yes i could clean it but i am lazy, and i feel like it.
Okay so last time i did this i followed the onscreen instructions.
But last i took the advanced mode for installoing (since i am not upgrading) and i just deleted my primer and system drives and let it run completely free from there, but hey thaatt fucked up my graphics and wifi drivers!
I fixed it last time, but it took time. I dont want to do it again, so how exactly should i handle it?
Do i install it on a partition?
note: today in class my friend reinstalled his laptop and did as me by deleting everything, nothing went wrong for him.
also: i am installing 32 bit home premium, i do have 64 bit too but i am installing on a stationary pc.
Any help/advice so i dont screw up? Thanks ahead since its late i denmark i probaly will fall asleep in the next hour.
In some cases, if you install Windows 7, it will be able to install the drivers automatically, and you will be safe with a full format. But in your case, if you wanted to be safe, you would look up your computer model in dxdiag, and then go to the manufacturer's website. (HP, Dell, Acer, Toshiba), and manually download the drivers for your wifi / lan drivers, then you can update the rest of the drivers through windows update after the new operating system has been installed. Save the drivers to a flash drive or CD so they dont get formatted along with the system when you reinstall 7 and install them when the system is fully reinstalled.

You can't really screw it up.
Backup anything you want to keep to an external storage of some kind, then boot the install DVD/USB. A few screens into the install, make sure you click the Custom/Advanced button which will give you drive options. Delete all the partitions and create new ones how you see fit. Personally, on my 1Tb drive I like to make a 100Gb partition to install Windows on, and split the remaining space into 2 equal partitions. 1 for documents/media and the other for games. When you've made your partitions, format them all, then make sure the partition you want windows on is highlighted, and continue the setup.
That's it. If somehow something messes up, just start the setup again.
Also I've never had a computer where Windows 7 doesn't automatically install all the required drivers, with the occasional exception of video drivers. Even in that case, your computer should be good to connect to the internet so you can just download them no problems.
Yes, as TheGuru said, in most cases, you will be fine, driver-wise. Since Windows 7 Automatically has a large list of drivers installed when you first install it. As I said though, find the drivers for your computer's motherboard for at least LAN (Ethernet) , or Wireless LAN (Wireless Internet) for your wireless card (If you are using one), so in case you have some absurdly non-existant network card or cannot hardwire yourself into an internet source via ethernet cable, then you will have the drivers you need.
