• How do I fix my jittery mouse pad?

I have a Windows 7 laptop, and sometimes, (Not always) I'll turn on my computer from sleep mode and the mouse pad just doesn't respond the way it should, say if I try moving the mouse to the left a little, it will go left a little, but just jump to the right. Although half the other time my mouse pad responds perfectly, so it's not a permanent problem, I also found that reseting my computer fixes it, but reseting my laptop whenever this happens is just a nuisance.
Sounds like the harware mouse is dodgy or the driver for it doesn't like sleep mode, unless there is new driver for the touchpad I doubt there is much you can do. My old wireless card really screwed up with sleep mode. Oh and if you have a touchpad disable / enable button you could try operating that.... Or get a mini usb mouse!
btw, it's called a touchpad (just a heads up) anyways, you should get yourself a wireless mouse of some sort.
