When Dota2 gets released in Korea, hell.. They will dominate the competitive scene of Dota2 within weeks, just like in LoL I hear.
And Korea's probably where LoL gets so many players from. I'm not even sure if Dota2 is out in korea, not in china at least

Where did all these moba players come from? I remember a year or so ago CS still had the same numbers as today and they were the most played games on steam.
Is LoL available in China? Just asking, Dota2 isn't.

The winners of season 2 (the last season) in LoL were from Taiwan. The runners up were Korean though, I think.

Most of these free dota2 invites everyone has about 50 of aren't redeemable in china though, so its harder to get in if you're from there and thats why those region free invites are actually worth something.

Well thanks for the tidbit, but I think I was just trying to point out that yes Chinese play Dota 2.
I fully acknowledge once the floodgates are open, and Dota 2 has a front page on steam, LoL better step up their game.

CS1.6 still has a very large playerbase. It's pretty cool how people still support it so much imo.
