I was just curious as to whether the amount given on the military pay table was a yearly or a monthly sum.
For example an:
0-1 makes 2,665 dollars
0-2 makes 3.058 dollars
I find it hard to believe that anyone could live on 2k a year and I wanted to join the army through ROTC and become a helicopter pilot then join the coast guard after my contract is up. But I wont do that if all I can get is 2k a year.
Thanks
Edit cause I am a dipshit
I did the math and it would end up being like .50 cents an hour so it has to be monthly
And they pay for housing, food and uniform. Basically you get your tax back.
