My computer only has 6 fans total (if you count the CPU cooler and the PSU and the GPU). There is one in the front, one in the back, and one on top.
Most of the fans are the stock fans that come with the CM690 ii Advanced. The CPU fan is the one that came with my CPU cooler (Hyper 212+).
Also, there has been a low hum that comes in bursts (2 seconds on, 2 seconds off). It doesnt happen all of the time though.
The main problem is that the fans are noisy. Ive thought of three solutions:
1) New fans (any suggestions?)
2) That foam stuff that you stick on your side panels that absorbs vibration (do these even do anything?)
3) A fan controller (any suggestions?)
4) All three of these.
I might mod my case so its split into 3 seperate heat zones but for now, i want to make my computer quieter (im not asking for silent).
Any helpful info would be appreciated!
Thanks
Power the fans individually and find which one is the loudest
What if theyre all loud?
Can you give me any feedback about my ideas?

Those were the exact ones i was looking at.
I think i might get two for a push/pull setup.
Should i add heatzones to my computer? It would be a fun modding project IMO

No, seriously. Silent Eagle fans are the way to go.
Or the Gentle Tyhoon fans.

you wont hear anything
190 CFM and silent don't seem to go very well together
its so loud that you won't hear anything
I love how my GTS 250 revs up like a Ferrari sometimes.
I love how my GTX 460 Cyclone is so quiet I can't hear it at all.
