That was a short vacation: Lulzsec back at it again, redirecting The Sun's website among other thing
The fruits of today's Sun UK hack are starting to dangle down: LulzSec (out of retirement?) and Anon are tweeting logins of some serious British media brass. Foremost? Rebekah Brooks, the epicenter of England's voicemail hacking scandal. Update: phone numbers!
The tweet divulged the email and password info for one Rebekah Wade—Brooks' maiden name—along with several others, including Bill Akass, managing editor emeritus of the now-defunct Murdoch rag News of the World.
This trickle is probably only the start. LulzSec appears to be hard at work squeezing more logins out of The Sun's servers:

In other words, expect more—though the only login fish bigger than Brooks would be Murdoch's.
Update: AntiSec operators have tweeted phone numbers for The Sun's online editor, Pete Picton, along with two other (lesser) Sun editorial figures.
According to Twitter, they were also redirecting all queries from thesun.co.uk to their Twitter profile, which is now mysteriously down. What a coincidence.
Developing: I'll update sources as more info becomes available
didn't all their dox get released?
what makes them think it's a good idea to go back on the radar and make their situation worse
Not this shit again...
Goddamnit, get your shit together FBI.
Well, at least it's The Sun.
Arrest us. We dare you. We are the unstoppable hacking generation and you are a wasted old sack of shit, Murdoch. ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!
Hardly unstoppable considering the few of you that were caught.
ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!
Are you serious?
oh hey these kids are back
I thought they "disbanded", because they "planned" to disband

Apparently their parents just dragged them out of their dungeons and into the sunlight for a few weeks.
Apparently their parents just dragged them out of their dungeons and into the sunlight for a few weeks.
I think they're too heavy for their parents to drag out
you'd need to airlift them
Nah, can't airlift.
Way too greasy to get a good hold on.
Nah, can't airlift.

They stick hooks with ropes attached to them into their skin and lift them that way.
So it seems to me that they've seen a developing story (the so called 'Phone hacking scandal') and decided that they want to get in on it, that they want to be the centre of attention again, eh? How pathetic.
Nah, can't airlift.

Theyll just detach their room from the house and airlift the room.

Too much anime porn.
Helicopter couldn't support the added weight (very hard already due to heavy cargo).
You've gotta be fucking kidding me. Not this bullshit again.
They're doing nothing useful for the internet yet they call themselves "white hats". Fucking bullshit.

I was reading everything up to here smiling. After reading this, I started laughing uncontrollably.
But yeah, they're a bunch of losers.

Would the FBI be involved over the hacking of a British website?
Would the FBI be involved over the hacking of a British website?
He was probably referring to the fact that the other month they attacked several American websites, including a few government ones and yet they've been pretty much allowed to run rampant, not counting that one who got arrested over here (and that had nothing to do with American law enforcement, for obvious reasons).
Would the FBI be involved over the hacking of a British website?
I'm pretty sure lulzsec is based off in America.
I'm pretty sure lulzsec is based off in America.
Their frequent targets would suggest otherwise, complete speculation on my part but I think they are based in the UK.
As for this, I was against most of what Lulz Sec were doing but this truly is hilarious. Its also a bit ironic, they are hacking email accounts to show how someone hacked phone's.
Well, at least it's The Sun.
why can't it be Fox news though? Then they'd actually be doing something smart.
Gotta love the Louise Boat. They need to get Fox next.

Indeed.
Goddamnit, get your shit together FBI.
Yes because the FBI has power in Britian.

More like "brown shit-stain covered hats".
I'm pretty sure lulzsec is based off in America.
Some of their users might be, but I think there's some who come from outside the US. Again though for this particular case the FBI can't really do anything, though it just tells them that they might see something on their end soon again.
ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER!
Someones been watching too much anime.
I am okay with this
