Need a few parts for a build. I have a 500 watt psu, GPU, and dvd drive.
Need:
-HDD
-RAM
-CPU and mobo
What I've been looking at...
RAM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233335
HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769
CPU/Mother Board - no idea really...
Thanks for your help.
Are these the only parts you need? Will you be upgrading in the future? Do you plan on using CROSSFire?
Post your full current specs (use speccy if you have to) and add your PSU model.
Also WD blue HDD's are pretty slow compare to their Black series which causes longer loading times.

Black drives are generally over 50% more expensive too, so it's dumb to compare them. Plus, the speed difference wouldn't be terribly noticeable, reliability is where Caviar Black's shine.

5400rpm vs 7200rpm? And reliability too then.

except blue drives are 7200rpm so I'm not entirely sure where you're going with this

That's what I have.
I'm looking at the invoice of my hard drive right now, you might want to grab a Seagate Barracuda, mine's 1 TB, 64MB cache and 7200 RPM, it boots windows fast for a mechanical hard drive.
I3-3220
Z68 or h66 Mobo.
8/4Gb cheap ddr3 ram.
