Notch is richer than the rest of indie game dev put together
How do I somehow doubt this?
they wouldn't let notch have all these vacations
of course he wouldn't agree
How do I somehow doubt this?
Because you underestimate his wealth.
honestly, i don't see anything wrong with this, if he could get mc retail, loads of money for him and ea
then again he probably doesn't need it
If they'd be selling it for 20$ it wouldn't be worth retailing it, and whatever the distribution would be, they'd take at least a 50% cut from each sale, so it's a loss for him because he does well on his own.
If they'd be selling it for the regular 60$ price, I can't think of any person who is in his mind and would pay 60$ for Minecraft, with all the due respect to it.
I cannot see Notch being apart of EA.
In other Notch news, Minecraft recently hit three million sales.
$15 seed packs and rank based competitive multiplayer.
If EA bought Mojang. Copyright take downs everywhere on YT and MC sale number drop like a lead balloon.
Mojang is doing a plenty good job on the game. But they could always do better on the community engagement side and more blog posts about the game.
If EA bought it the multiplayer wouldn't work anymore.
Good.
Diamond weapons pre-order exclusive DLC
Mandatory matchmaking services and no independent dedicated/listen servers
=|
Exclusive Obsidian Gear $9.95
"Vehicle Pack" with all three types of Minecarts, the Boat, and exclusive Pig Mount, $14.95
Also, no modding and all users must verify their saves with the "EA Save Protection System" for the users safety of course.
Ohh, and only those who buy through EA Origins will be given access to the exclusive "Redstone Miner's Guild" allowing them access to all Redstone related materials.
If Activision wouldve bought Mojang, then minecraft would get such DLCs. EA hasn't been that DLC crazy tbh still if EA wouldve bought Minecraft then they wouldve probably made it so you can only play minecraft on origin.
Ohh, and don't forget the incredibly long ranking process. Reach Rank 40 to unlock the Furnace! Reach Rank 45 to Unlock the Iron Hoe! Reach Rank 60 to Unlock the Iron Sword! Reach Rank 200 to unlock the prized Gold Armor!
Minecraft.net gets taken down, all previous accounts are lost. "You must have an origin account and a purchased copy of minecraft to play."
If EA had Mojang expect Expansion Packs adding tiny features that should have been there in the first place, each for the price of a full game.
Also, modding would be too "complex".
Good on you Mojang, good that you didn't drop the drawbridge, don't let the vampires in. EA caused that shit to happen, and Mojang wants out!
I don't like Notch, he is an idiot.
now revised with proper grammar!
I don't like Notch, he is a idiot.
I don't feel there is quite an accurate rating for you, so enjoy a healthy clock.
No profanity/racism in seeds allowed
If EA bought it the multiplayer wouldn't work anymore.
Whenever notch updated it the multiplayer wouldn't work anymore.
I don't like Notch, he is a idiot.
*I don't like Notch. He is an idiot.
Fixed that whole thing up for you.
Well done.
Ohh, and don't forget the incredibly long ranking process. Reach Rank 40 to unlock the Furnace! Reach Rank 45 to Unlock the Iron Hoe! Reach Rank 60 to Unlock the Iron Sword! Reach Rank 200 to unlock the prized Gold Armor!
why are you making jokes like this a thread about activision
I cannot see Notch being apart of EA.
EA will end up being part of Mojang.
Minecraft, now on Origin!
Be the first to buy Minecraft on Origin (all previous accounts will be deactivated within a month (30 days)) and receive the Starter Pack ($4.95) for free! (hoe not included)
If Notch declined Valve's offer, which he did, of course he would decline a company like EA.
I dislike EA. Just gonna throw that out there.
New dlc allows you to place blocks only $29.95.
