1.25 TB? That's actually surprisingly less than I imagined.

Its much more than I expected considering I thought its only really used for relatively small things. 1.25TB is 1374389534720 ASCII characters, which in comparison is about the entire text contained in 5 - 7 million hardcover books at about 500 pages each. This seems a bit off considering at 25 million pastes the average character count of each paste would be 60,000.
I guess it all depends on how they save it and what they save with it; but dont be fooled that any amount of space is a small amount for text....Open up a text file and keep copy+pasting blocks of text until you have a few million characters then save it and check the size, you'll be very surprised.

I remember it when it was popular to copy-paste an empty space "*" a couple of million times, save it and then archive it. The archive ended up being like 5 kb, but when you decompressed it, bam - half your hard-drive's missing.
