So hi, I've been trying to fix my fraps not recording sound for a while and I found out that you need to enable ''Stereo Mix''. My problem is that when I try to enable it I can't find it anywhere. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
I can't fully remember on XP, but there is a volume control panel somewhere with lots of bars, and you go to the menus at the top and it's somewhere in there, it's hard to explain because I don't have XP lol.
This is how it looks like for me, I can't find it there. I think this is what you mean.
Is there anything else under "Mixerenhet"?
Nope, just PnP Audio Device.
You didn't pay for that Photoshop.
Thanks, your reply helped me alot.
You didn't pay for that Photoshop.
You didn't pay for that Windows you used to post that post.
You didn't pay for that Windows you used to post that post.
Get the fuck out if your not going to help. @ OP is you sound On-board? And also check to make sure your drivers are updated.
"PNP audio device" sounds like a generic windows driver to me...
Can this be the right driver? http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/AZTECH/Aztech-Waverider-Platinum-3D-PnP-Audio-Driver-100.shtml ? Dunno if it is.
What motherboard do you have?
What motherboard do you have?
I feel stupid for asking but, how do I check that. Tried google didn't find any too helpful results.
download cpu-z http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php once done, click main board tab then post what is the next to model.
Well the model is ''AM2NF3-VSTA'', theres nothing next do it. Do you mean chipset that is below it?
bump
install sound drivers. what sound did your Mobo come with?
what sound did your Mobo come with?
''mobo''?
''mobo''?
motherboard.
My motherboard didn't come with anything special, the computer already had it when I bought it.
My motherboard didn't come with anything special, the computer already had it when I bought it.
then try realtek drivers realtek.com select downloads select HD Audio
Right, google your motherboard make, you get http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=AM2NF3-VSTA&s= then the download tab on the left, leads you to this download, for audio drivers for your motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=AM2NF3-VSTA&s=AM2&T=D&ID=52
If, by any chance, you have an integrated realtek HD, those don't have any sort of stereo mix.
Thank for the help guys, I'm going to see if the drivers work. [editline]03:22PM[/editline] It worked, thank you guys.
