I'm looking for a good 2.1 speaker system for around $50 or $60, anybody have some good suggestions? Mostly for music purposes, gaming too. Needs to get loud without distorting and turning shitty.

Worth it.

Nice, but massively out of budget.

Fantastic performance for $30 speakers. They're pretty top notch for budget speakers. I think they'll suit you just fine.

Are these any good? If they are, you might of found me and the OP some new speakers.
I pulled the trigger on some open box ProMedias for $75 shipped. If they show up all shitty and not working, they get returned and I go back to the drawing board. But I'm hoping for the best, those things are universally loved by people that have them.

Best speakers in the price range in my opinion. You'll love em. I would have got em, but instead I got a set of bose companion 3 for 80 bucks.

Sorry for the bump, but how do you like those speakers?

Pretty good, loud, good quality, but, they are way overpriced. Get the klipsch.

If I had the money right now I would, but it's just too far out of my price range. I got the Logitech z523s, just waiting for them to come in now. Reviews looked nice, but I'm only keeping them for a bit until I can get more money. Think I'll get the Klipsch promedia in a year or so and give the z523 to my parents.
I may or may not get my ProMedias, it's been like two weeks since the people I bought them from claimed they shipped from Virginia to Indiana...yeah, right. I smell a Google mediation in my immediate future if those fuckers don't answer my messages.
ProMedias came in today! Parcel post is slower than frozen Canadian molasses...
I am so glad I took and chance and bought these, they blow any 2.1 system I've ever had out of the water. If anyone else is looking for speakers, save your money and BUY THEM.
