i5 or i7 preferably No 5400 rpm Better GPU than GTS 360m Try not to exceed 1200 usd price tag As for now I have found one laptop in this criteria http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114903 And please don't suggest to build desktop pc, I know what I am doing [editline]12:18AM[/editline] What thread asks you, is to find some laptops in given criteria. Please
why do you need a gaming laptop
Build a desktop.
You guys didn't answer my question
This section is called PC Building, not Laptop Buying, so make a thread somewhere else, we are going to suggest building a PC whether you like it or not.
Not that I can't build, I already have 2.
You guys didn't answer my question
you didn't answer mine.
Well, which section do you think is most fitting? [editline]12:28AM[/editline]
you didn't answer mine.
Well, I travel around alot
Well then why do you want a gaming laptop. Build another good PC, you won't be able to game very well on laptops. A laptop with the name "Gaming" in it is a joke.
if you travel alot, a heavy gaming laptop isn't going to benefit you in any way. the batteries aren't exactly "lasting"

That laptop you linked seems decent for that price. But yeah, remember that powerful laptops don't have long lasting batteries.
if you travel alot, a heavy gaming laptop isn't going to benefit you in any way. the batteries aren't exactly "lasting"
Well, I made thread to get advices on which model to get
I beg to differ. I'm not looking forward to max metro 2033 or something. You can have decent gaming laptop with gts 360m or hd5850
Mobility versions of cards suck ass. You will barely be able to play CS:S on low settings.
Mobility versions of cards suck ass. You will barely be able to play CS:S on low settings.
My hairy ass http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTS-360M.24058.0.html [editline]12:33AM[/editline] Why facepunch is always trying to prove you wrong..
Mobility versions of cards suck ass. You will barely be able to play CS:S on low settings.
leave this section and NEVER give advice again please
-snip-
Only difference in mobility version is slower clock to prevent much overheating
leave this section and NEVER give advice again please
You aren't helping much either.
Only difference as performance wise
"why facepunch is correct" thx get a netbook, you don't need to play STALKER while you're traveling around, wasting your time on being social/playing old-school games/roguelikes will benefit you anyways.
damn automerge breakers
If you tell them what you want it for and the situation then they may be able to give you better advice.
If you tell them what you want it for and the situation then they may be able to give you better advice.
Well, gaming? Just a gaming laptop which can play new games at low-med
