• 480W Power Supply vs. new CPU

I'm planning on buying an AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.0GHz. As stated in the thread title, my power supply is only 480W. Here's the rest of my specs: • Current CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9550 @ 2.21GHz • GeForce 9800GTX+ • 4GB DDRII RAM 800MHz • 5 USB devices connected • SCSI 15,000rpm Hard Drive • DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drive Now, I've used this site here for calculating the power supply. I even added some extra stuff I didn't have, and put the CPU utilization to 100%, and I'm still well under 480W, in fact I'm around 360W. However, when I go to Newegg's Power Supply, it tells me that I need around 500W. So, which one do I believe? Can my power supply handle my new Phenom II X4 processor or what?
It's fine. [editline]10:27PM[/editline] What brand?
you're fine

Yea, your fine.
With those specs, including the new AMD Phenom II, do you think I'll be able to run BioShock 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?
we are not from the future, we cannot say but generally yes
With those specs, including the new AMD Phenom II, do you think I'll be able to run BioShock 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2?
Yup. Easily.
Yup. Easily.
Even with 16x anti-aliasing?
Even with 16x anti-aliasing?
No way.
Even with 16x anti-aliasing?
AA becomes more and more unnecessary as the resolution increases.
