n a terrible turn of events, the father of 1-year-old Antiq Hennis, who was shot dead in Brooklyn while being pushed in a stroller, isn’t telling police a thing about who may have killed his son. In fact, Anthony Hennis is trying to sell his story to publications instead of being cooperative with police. But only for the right price
http://globalgrind.com/2013/09/10/father-anthony-hennis-1-year-old-shot-brooklyn-wont-help-cops-find-gunman-details/?utm_source=Twitter
What the fuck is wrong with this man? Your son just died, how can you try and milk this for profit?

Does that not count as obstructing the police?
What the fuck is wrong with this man? Your son just died, how can you try and milk this for profit?
Because money is more valuable than life
Spoilers: the dad shot him.
what a piece of shit
Because money is more valuable than life
But the life is already gone?
Where's Jack McCoy to leverage his testimony by charging him as a co-conspirator when you need him?
But the life is already gone?
You can't put a price on a living person, but you can put a price on a dead person.
I hope he tries this in court and gets slapped with contempt.
You can't put a price on a living person, but you can put a price on a dead person.
...life insurance?
You can't put a price on a living person, but you can put a price on a dead person.
well i can purchase a mail order bride for a pretty reasonable price [editline]12th September 2013[/editline] who is alive
...life insurance?
You have to die to get the money.
well i can purchase a mail order bride for a pretty reasonable price [editline]12th September 2013[/editline] who is alive
They're dead on the inside.
Prosecute the father as the killer.
You have to die to get the money.
You're still talking about the value of a human life, except insurance is concerned with the "compensation for lost goods" end of things more than the "come see our lovely showroom of slaves for sale" end.
Does that not count as obstructing the police?
I'm not entirely sure if refusal to disclose information counts, you'd have to actively do something for it to be obstruction.
When life gives you lemons
You make dead babies.
You make dead babies.
Then you figure out how to get lemonade out of that.
is it possible that he's been intimidated by the perp/perps/gang?
Does that not count as obstructing the police?
You don't have to tell the police anything. Obstruction of justice includes lying to the police or destroying evidence.
When life gives you lemons
I feel like there's a joke for me to make here but I just can't find it
Something tells me he didn't want the child...
Would this not count as an obstruction to an ongoing criminal investigation?
I wonder how long he was depressed for. Was he sad for a week, then decided to get money? Maybe as soon as the kid was shot he called up a newspaper.
i'm pretty sure it's not illegal to not talk to police. and if it is it shouldn't be. not defending this guy at all just saying you shouldn't have to talk/help cops if you don't want to.
