• Tons of problems, errors suddenly show up, reformatting...

Hello! Well, I have no idea what brought this on, but all of a sudden when I started my computer this morning I ran into a multitude of errors. My AVG (Free) Suddenly alerted me that its registration key was unrecognized, and needed to be reentered or uninstalled. Advanced System Care suddenly refused to start. Steam isn't starting. The internet is working but, for some reason, I can't download AVG free again. Many of my other programs randomly crashed on startup. I know what I need to do--reformat. I'm offloading all of my important files onto a separate hard drive, and then I'm going to reformat my main drive. I'm worried, though, because I have no clue how this happened. I'm not going to delve into it right now, because I've been meaning to reformat anyways, but any assistance or tips you guys can give into what I should be doing, besides the reformat itself, of course, would be greatly appreciated. I do remember, a while back, a website was made that we found the link to that allowed users to easily check off certain useful programs from a list (firefox, audiciaty, paint.NET, etc) and then download them in one customized package. Can I please get that link? Thank you very much.
