• Tablet. Epic First go

Hey. Got a tablet yesterday and made my first 'art' work. Yeh I know it is pretty bad, so... no need to remind me. So I thought I'd post it and see if you guys had any tips, links to tutorials for this kind of stuff, links to good brushes... etc. Would be really awsome if you did! I had no idea how to do a background... so... lol...
Awesome colouring and shading. At least compared to my shit.
Bad proportions along with sub-par shading and colouring. I honestly can't tell why you buy tablets if you can't draw. (It seems like many do)
Drawing is a learned talent..
Keep at it, you'll learn eventually.
http://tutorialdog.com/draw-in-photoshop-using-a-tablet/ Everything in this section of the site. Browse for a while and keep practising. I can see you have a bit of an eye for this, but you don't really have any technique to speak of. Look up a few anatomy lessons online and learn how to draw properly proportioned bodies. Your work at the moment isn't good, by any margin, but it shows promise. Keep practising and make sure to post more as you improve.
Looks good for a first attempt. Keep trying, you'll get it.
I honestly can't tell why you buy tablets if you can't draw. (It seems like many do)
Because some people enjoy drawing even though they suck ( Like me )
Who needs tablets...a mouse is the choice of the man. :v: BTW I think when you begin using a tablet it's like your skills decrease a good percent until you get the hang of it.
Cool pic, what tablet did you get?

Took me a week or so to get used to it, and as mentioned, some actually like to draw for shit.

Remember, the tools don't make the artist. So don't go thinking a tablet will increase your skills, because it won't if you can't imagine shapes and reproduce them accurately. No tool will do that, only your mind is what would need improving. Anyway, pretty good first tablet drawing... Needs work, but it's not as bad as what I've seen for first drawings of tablet users.
