Well, this is a good way for people to watch DotA 2 live whilst Valve gets precious statistics about how many people are interested in DotA 2 which should make the whole server capacity issue a bit easier on release. Although, it'll probably still be quite bumpy.
More heroes after the International yaaay

I have to ask myself, why bother paying to watch it when you can watch it on other livestreams somewhere else for free? I mean sure, it's in-engine spectating, but you can't multitask when watching that.

If you're just watching it in the background, it's not that useful, but it's not like you're forced to pay for it. Also, all the International 2 games are free.

Dota2 is incredibly alttab friendly, and I guess you could run it in a smaller window if that's your major issue? Anyway the inengine spectate is good if you want some control over the stream, or look at some items in more detail. It's interactive, what's not to like?

Can you download this if you already have Dota 2? [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] Hm, I can't seem to. Not that there's really any reason to have both.

Of course, this only applies to games that have people streaming them. Fun fact, in recorded replays (not live), the director can speed up the action for you until something cool happens!

You dont even have to do that as Window/Borderless is an in game option
