• Build me a budget gaming pc

With Christmas just around the corner, I have decided that I will only ask for money from parents, relatives etc and perhaps trade in or sell a few old things, to rake up some money for a new pc. I'm ideally looking for something under 1300 AUD, with decent performance. I plan to play all source engine games, do some editing here and there, and play some high performance games like Arma 2 or OFP DR on high settings. If you haven't figured it out from the currency, I am Australian so Australian stores/websites only. I'm not looking for any peripherals, as I can handle that myself. What I need is recommendations on the core components (gpu, cpu, case, psu etc). I will also accept any pre-builts you can find that would be suitable for the above games. Go Facepunch go
(1300AUD is about £720 or $1190USD fyi) Do you have any preference for a specific brand i.e. ATI over nVidia or vice versa, etc?
i5 2 5770 4GB DDR3 ram p55 1TB HDD Antec 900v2(maybe)/ haf 932 Some screen.

Do you think I know nothing about how exchange rates work?
