Be heavy. Play smart. Should be enough to get you started.
Play and shit. Do awesome shit. Don't get bummed out when you get you shit handed to you. It all comes down to how you handle shit. Holy shit.
thx for the shit man.(in a good way.)
Just be a scout and run around, double jump and circle and shoot whoever you want with your scatter gun, always be moving.
scout and pistol. thats all i gotta say. man i love the scout :swoon:
Spy is the most challenging class to play, I would reccomend learning the style of gameplay before expecting yourself to get very good at it.
Try Heavy first after taking the tutorial lesson, and then find your niche. I'm best at Scout (runs fast), Pyro (too close up and unpredictable to shoot), and Engineer (I'm good at micromanagement), and bad at Demoman (can't aim), Medic (I don't suck, but there are much better medics than me), and Spy (not as bad as I was before, but I still suck).
Also, learn what the equipment does. Scout with pistol doesn't always work. Sometimes you just have to drink Bonk!. You'll find equipment that you like (Nya nya can't headshot me!), and equipment that you don't (I think the dead ringer is overrated).
Last but not least, learn how to handle other players. I'm still learning this, as any new player's first reaction it to go after anyone that isn't your team color. Scouts aren't good against sentries. Snipers are weak to Spys. If a medic-heavy pair is closing in, run if you're not on equal terms. Spycheck-happy players are vulneable to missdirection, so if you're a spy, reveal yourself in the entrance to an area, then cloak, disguise, and take the other path. Spycrabs are considered an endangered species, so don't be afraid to use that as a front and stab them behind their backs.
There's two parts of skill in TF2 (or really, anything). Theory and Practice. All of one but none of the other fails to half and half of both.
make sure dis done happen to you turrets .

...It went up alright
I like playing as the soldier or heavy when I want to have some fun, or a engineer when I'm feeling like being defensive.
My favorite calls is engineer 'cus he builds stuff
Wrong section.
Medic, Pyro, and Heavy = best beginner classes. after around 5 hours played on each do Solly (or scout), Engie, Sniper, then play about 10 hours then do Scout (unless you did that already),Demo, and Spy
